HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY FOUND & FORGED ON THE ROAD
All the earrings are made from reclaimed bullet casings collected by me on our public lands. Each casing turned into an earring is one less item left discarded in our national forest and one less item added to our landfill. The earrings are a reminder of how everything we do makes an impact. Each piece is individually created and naturally patina by hand, making them unreplicable. It’s a multi-day process from start to finish. Each pair of earrings comes with the GPS coordinates of where the shells were collected.
The earrings are made of salvaged bullet and shot gun casings found in forests, mountains and deserts across the U.S. The ear wires are handmade using 14K gold filled and sterling silver wires. All wire materials are products of the U.S.
Sustainability is at the forefront of every decision made at Viridian Range – from the design of each pair of earrings, the materials used, where it’s sourced, how it’s disposed of, and packaging materials. I’m aware of my footprint and strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible. Viridian Range isn't just beautiful jewelry, but they’re each a statement. 1% of all profits are donated to an environmental non-profit organization. The Wilderness Society is the recipient for 2020.
My adoration for one of a kind jewelry and desire to repurpose whatever I can drew me to start creating my own. I hope you enjoy the beauty that combining creativity, randomness, and salvaging items bring.
Stand out. Make your mark. Sustainably.
